Supercouloir – T16 First Ascent, South Summit

T16: First Ascent South Summit or ‘Supercouloir’ is a short film on a Romanian climbing couple. They embark on a trip to Indian Himalayas to ascend an unclimbed peak in unvisited territories of Zanskar. Cosmin Andron and Cristina Pogacean come from a very different background of an Alpine guide and an engineer respectively and still scale the daunting T16 peak with an undiminished demeanor. The couple shares an insightful experience of choosing the peak, the ascent and descent route.

The film exhibits a climbing feat in form a vignette in an experiential way so that other alpinists/mountaineers can learn and get inspired. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
